Authentic Indian Street Food Since 2001

Royal Paan has been serving authentic Indian street food across Canada since 2001. The brand was founded when the owner could not find genuine Indian-style Paan in Canada, and after extensive research, opened the first location in Malton, Ontario. Today Royal Paan operates 30+ locations across North America, making it one of the fastest-growing Indian street food chains on the continent.

We bring the centuries-old South Asian tradition of Paan to Edmonton — a beloved cultural practice of chewing areca nut wrapped in betel leaf, prized for its digestive and medicinal properties — alongside bold Mumbai-style and Punjabi street food.
